Seven Days of Gratitude – Day 2

Dad at Battery Park

Dad at Battery Park

I am grateful for 39 years with my Dad! His spirit passed over 4 years ago, and I miss him everyday… but for 39 years I had him in my life.

He always did his best to be an honest, hardworking, caring, loving, and overall good, average person. But I believe in doing so, he was well above average.

He volunteered over 40 years with a group dedicated to helping people overcome mental health and anxiety issues, he gave his time freely to friends and family, and he always attempted to make right the things he did or said that weren’t his best.

There is nothing more I could ask for in a perfect father.

What are you grateful for today?
